Neverwinter Nights 2 Class Mods Code
- PC | Submitted by ZleyerYou need Hords of the Underdark, when you start a game on HTU, you will get 15 levels. You make your person and than you 'save profile'.
Now, when you start a new game in or the original Neverwinter nights, you can select him/her.
You can also go to the arsenal afther making your person in Hords of the Underdark, you'll keep most items, but not things like 'Rough stone' and other things only found in HOTU. But if you save the profile afther that, you can sell it and get filthy rich!

- PC | Submitted by bryanPick or make a character and then do the prelude. Complete the prelude and you should gain 2 levels. after you complete the prelude save your character not the game. if you want to do it over go to the main menu and start a new game select a pre-made character and do it over again.
- PC | Submitted by SephirothOn the first level you can buy your class suit for no money then you can sell it back for 1 gold, so buy it and buy it until your backpack is full then sell all of them and repeat until you have as much money as you want
- PC | Submitted by DevThis is pretty simple, all you have to do, is go to the Contest of Champions (under the Other Modules) with a new character, talk to a rules enforcer and he'll say you cant join till you are level 10. he'll give you all the experience, so you can level up. then, go through the portal, and you'll get loads of gp. you can then talk to the Shopkeepers on the far end who have practically every item in the game. Then, this is the most important bit, press save, then, SAVE YOUR CHARACTER. it should say character exported successfully, quit the game, then go to never winter nights campaign, select a pre-made character, and look for the one that you made, make sure it has a (1) beside the name. and, voila!! you have level 10!
- PC | Submitted by GamesRadarYou may need to go to the file nwn.ini in the game folder and add the line

Now while playing press ~ to get the console and type DebugMode 1 (case sensitive
Now press ~ again and press the TAB key to get a list of debug commands. Press TAB again to scroll the commands. Now enter a code below. Invalid Character Message
When you use these cheats, and you try to change chapters (e.g. from the Prelude out the stables into Chapter 1) the game tells you that your character is invalid and the login is refused. To avoid this problem, find your nwnplayer.ini file in the base NWN directory. Then find the line saying 'Single Player Enforce Legal Characters=1'. Change that 1 to a 0, and your troubles are over. - PC | Submitted by GamesRadarGo into the toolset, create a area. Then create a weapon or armor with an load of enchantments and bonuses, doesn't really matter what. Save it, enter the game, and play the mod. Pick up what you created and save character.
Then start a new game with the character you saved, and since you wont be able to use your creation for the next 40 lvls or so you might as well sell it and get filthy rich! - PC | Submitted by Lizmessage: When you first meet Lady Aribeth at the Hall of Justice, she will give you 100 gp. Talk to her again, and first say you want to ask her questions, then ask her how to use the Stone of Recall. She'll tell you, then give you 100 gp. Do this over, and over again, and you'll be makin' money really quickly.
- PC | Submitted by Evolution DelThis is a very help trick if you dislike the small amount of model possibilities that Nwn gives you.To use any model in the game as your main character in every game, simply while in your game, activate the DebugMode 1 and then type in the following line in the console,SetAppearance #,where the # is a number from 1 to 290,when you change into a model that you like, simple save your character and then exit your game, then when you load the character with the model you chose into another game, you will find that you have the model that you chose in your game!
- PC | Submitted by spikedudeOn the first level after you meet 'Aribith' she will give you the 'Stone of Recall'. Ok now go to the door in front of you. A man will ask you to be his partner for 250 gold pay him because he is very handy OK once you have done this. You will face some pretty hard enemies. But this is where the code comes in handy. Sooner or later your henchmen will dye. If he dyes during a battle don't worry about it. Kill the enemies off and use the 'Stone of Recall' it will send you where lady aribith is your henchmen will be waiting for you when you use the stone of recall.

- I would love that.
It really is the game that just keeps on going, and if a development team kept releasing new content for module builders they could make a pretty penny and most people would be happy to buy it I would think.3·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook - I want to see more prestige classes than original game And like second game I want to see many subraces and more prestige classes0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
- I prefer an Icewind Dale universe enhancement first.. And then NWN of course, but I don't forget Fallout I and II! hahaha1·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook

- Don't think they should focus on overhauling every rpg game out there. There's some new stuff to do, new ideas to develop and not be tied by contract saying you can't to do this, can't do that is way better when making games..0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
- edited August 2012Enhancing Neverwinter Nights is the right call. But only if they also reanimate the carcasses of long forgotten premium modules back to life (Pirates of the Sword Coast, anyone?).
*glares towards Atari*1·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook - Great Idea! Like it also)))
But:
'2. Contractual limitations.
Beamdog's contract is for BG:EE and BG2:EE only.
No contract exists for a remake of Icewind Dale, Icewind Dale II or Planescape: Torment as of now. Therefore, it vicariously ensues that the devs have no access to any resources from those titles, including portraits, animations, spells, and monsters. Modders may be able to port those contents to BG:EE once the game is released, but the devs are legally bound to work with the Baldur's Gate saga resources alone.'
it is from theme, maybe you dislike ))):
[BG:EE] PLEASE READ - LIST OF THINGS THAT CAN'T BE DONE.
But, it is good information about posibilities and situation for today.
One day, maybe something can be changed))))))))
And, for me, Baldurs Gate much more glorious game. So it is good decision to bring back BG first.0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook - edited August 2012Rather than refreshing NWN, I think they're better off just making a new multiplayer-centric, custom persistent world friendly game. NWN's campaign, even the expansions, is by far the weak point of the series; the whole thing was designed as a sandbox for multiplayer.
Maybe the multiplayer component of BG3 can be what NWN's multiplayer component was. They could even one-up the 'server characters' system of NWN by having three options: local characters and host server characters, like normal, as well as a new 'Beamdog server chars' option which allows hosts to opt-in to Beamdog-set rules (a la Day Z). On a Beamdog-official servers, hosts can still use custom worlds but they would have to be vetted first. This would create an improved take on the Diablo online experience and would benefit both the company and the players; create a semi-regulated environment for fair multiplay that allows a non-local character to be played across several servers, but still allow enough modding flex so that the consumers can provide new content of their own instead of waiting for expansions or DLC or whatnot. And if you don't want to play on these semi-official servers, you can still play on completely custom servers.
It would be a great solution for both roleplay and dungeon crawl servers; allowing easy flow across varying RP servers without level 40 half-gnoll half-dragons rolling everywhere instead of being limited to one private tavern server if you want to stay away from the 13 year old egomaniacs, as well as providing a more balanced and constructive PvE environment if you just want to kill **** with other people (assuming Beamdog stays on top of making all the classes fun and useful and squashing any exploits).
The best analogy I can think of this is Minecraft. Yes, there are alot of custom servers, but the core, semi-regulated (Mojang sets the gameplay and the rules, players make their own creations) multiplayer experience of Adventure with other players online is a proven model of flexibility vs regulation.1·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
This. The toolset is great and allows for amazing things, but the graphics, gameplay, storyline, GUI, everything else is just hopeless about NWN.There is just no way to enhance that pile without doing a total re-haul from the ground up.
I'd rather they either tackle the other Infinity Engine games or start work on Baldur's Gate 3: Baldur Harder after this one.0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook- Maybe not NWN:EE, but another game with a toolset to build your own campaigns would be great.0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
It’s almost depressing how familiar your description of servers sounds. It would be a great solution for both roleplay and dungeon crawl servers; allowing easy flow across varying RP servers without level 40 half-gnoll half-dragons rolling everywhere instead of being limited to one private tavern server if you want to stay away from the 13 year old egomaniacs, as well as providing a more balanced and constructive PvE environment if you just want to kill **** with other people (assuming Beamdog stays on top of making all the classes fun and useful and squashing any exploits).0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook- Multi-core friendly would always be great!! I have a fresh copy of NWN 1 and 2, but I no longer play them because of that.0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
- Yes I have also NWN Platinum Edition and NWN2 Platinum Edition but I think NWN2's graphic engine very bad . But it have very good features . And very buggy NWNEE will be really awesome .0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook

My thoughts exactly. NWN is beyond redemption. There is just no way to enhance that pile without doing a total re-haul from the ground up.0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook- Really?
I've heard of lots of people being fairly ambivalent over NWN or finding it to be mediocre, but never outright dismissing it.
I'd be interested to know your reasons.1·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Well it's been ages since I played through it so I don't really remember details that well. Basically though coming from BG2 I had extremely high expectations for the game and was hugely disappointed by it. Reasons included, even for the time, extremely ugly 3d graphics, compare that to the 2d graphics of IE games that still hold up to this day. Also coupled with the UI it had it really felt like you were playing some game creation kit, instead of a fantasy RPG.Really?

I can't really remember anything about the main campaign, except that it had to with snowglobe(s) and I think it had at least one dragon in it?? Which kinda says it wasn't all that mesmerizing, and the main thing RPGs for me is the story. I also really hated the lack of party members, they were probably the single biggest thing that brought the IE games alive and BioWare just completely threw them out. Although if I remember correctly the expansions had them again, though was is it just one or two? Anyway the expansions were lot better than vanilla NWN, but still nowhere near the quality of BG2.
All in all as Solaufein said you pretty much have overhaul the whole game, unlike BG games you were just had to apply some polish.1·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook- I would rather see Icewind Dale enhanced than Neverwinter Nights..0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
- The graphics are atrocious, especially character graphics. I'm generally not picky about graphics unless I'm playing in a 3D environment. 2D I'm not that picky. Being in 3D, 1st person, your environment and how it looks is priority. Its a distraction from your immersion of the game if the graphics are poor. You could have the best written story for a game but if you have ugly blocky looking characters, it kills it for me.2·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
- I love NWN1 , but in a different way that I love BG.
Even though NWN scenarios and 3D system is very nice, there is no 'party' (two or three, tops) , and there's also little interaction.0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook - I'm trying a run on NWN2 atm, the graphic isn't an too problematic issue, the main problem of the game is the artifical inteligence, it's a pain sometimes to play with NPCs being so stupid. I don't like much OC but it's passable.1·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
- I've just played through NWN2 again. It's still buggy as hell1·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
- I think i'm not the only one that thinks that NWN was atrocious, especially in the graphics and animation/gameplay department.
Pretty much shows that 3D will not win over 2D always eh? I still prefer to look at BG, even though i don't find the art direction appealing there either, and that says a lot about NWN.
I don't see how they would be able to completely change a graphics engine of a game just to enhance it.
I think i would prefer an Icewind Dale enhanced edition, but only if they have the art assets this time, so they can improve the graphics.1·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook - edited June 2013
Pretty much shows that you are prone to generalisations.Pretty much shows that 3D will not win over 2D always eh?1·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook - edited June 2013@ikrivetko em.. what i meant is that 3D will not always win over 2D, i worded it weird and placed 'always' at the end, so i guess you could stretch it to your interpretation. And i see you were not the only one to take it like that.0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
- Enhance what exactly? I think an entire remake would be necessary.0·Share on Google+Share on TwitterShare on Facebook

I’ve been craving a good RPG — specifically D&D, and something set in the Forgotten Realms. After much debate, I settled on NWN2. (I can’t do BGII again. I’ve played it to death.)
I know my D&D, and I know the Realms, but I have some questions before I go down the rabbit hole:
Character limit: How many of my own created PCs can I have in my party in Neverwinter Nights 2? From my Googling, it looks like 4. Is that right? And if so, can I increase it to 5+ with a mod?
Graphic mods: Jester rounded up some “essential mods” here, with emphasis on graphic mods. Would you add anything to the list?
Character editor: I’m an old pen-and-paper player, and I like to have total control over my characters, even if it means sometimes bending the rules and taking a feat or spell I’m not technically allowed to have (the 2E books used to encourage players to bend the rules, so long as it wasn’t overpowered and it suited the character and campaign).
Is Vordan’s Hero Creator powerful enough to do that? Or should I look at an external editor for total control of my characters?
Modules: I like my D&D pretty dark and mature and close to the source material, like LotR or BGII. Can someone recommend modules in that vein? If modules get clownish or juvenile, I lose interest real fast — for example, if someone makes an adventure where I’m supposed to fuck a kobold, I’m gonna turn that off right away (there are some things that even I won't do for 20 gold pieces).
Neverwinter Nights 2 Mods Downloads
Lastly, what does it mean when Neverwinter Vault lists mod requirements, such as “OC” or “XP1”? Does that just mean Original Campaign, and Expansion Pack 1?
