- I have some minor mod conflict problem which I need Help. Mod called “Become Jarl of Ivarstead” have changed the city and shack in which action of “Idle dreams” take place. The NPC introduced by Interesting NPC can’t reach the shack and, even summoned there by console, he still does nothing. Is there a way to fix this by console or not console trick? I thank you for any advice.Thank you very much, I used Amicus stages and so couldn’t fix it. Yet if I can make a humble suggestion. The problem isn’t so severe, because my previous post wasn’t much accurate. The BJoI mod doesn’t remove the shack, it is still there, but because, what I think navmesh change, Amicus can’t reach it. Also the bedrolls added by Interesting NPCs, are misplaced outside the shack, they just float in air. If a patch could fix this issues, everything could work without some drastic changes. Sorry to bother you my over this my good man, but author of BJoI, isn’t interested with this issues.Hi,
first of all, thanks fo EXCELLENT mod.
I have problem with Zora. My setup:
– I am using Extensible Followers Framework
– mods load order by BOSS default (EFF basic mod loaded first, then INPCs, then INPCs EFF patch, then EFF modules)
– I had Gorr as follower, dismissed him after rescuing Zora
– currently I have Zora and Lydia as followers
– Both Zora and Lydia show EFF menu and can be managed via EFF
– I have completed The Children Fair with Zora (credits!, very good quest)
– I have met Gorr in his camp south of Ivarstead
– I think that I do not see Pit Dogs in my quest inventory
Now, I experience strange behavior:
– I cannot hire any additional INPCs follower (tried Valgus and Brakh) – they both reply with INPCs reply that I have too many followers already. Maybe I should change load order of EFF and INPCs? I am going to try to load INPCs and INPCs EFF patch before EFF main mod.
– I cannot dismiss Zora. If I try to dismiss her via EFF menu or INPCs dialog, I receive message that follower is dismissed, but Zora still keeps following. I still see INPCs dialog options, including dismiss, but it does not work. She does not show EFF menu anymore and I am even able to hire Brakh (so I ended up with Zora, Lydia and Brakh following me, but without possibility to manage Zora via EFF menu). Zora is obviously somehow broken in this state, for example if I sneak, Brakh and Lydia start sneaking too, but Zora does not sneak and breaks my Hidden status.
Any tips for troubleshooting and/or solution? Any way how to dismiss Zora via console?Sorry, I have entered incorrect email address in my previous post. The email address in this post is the right one.So I’ve been playing with Moonlight Tales – Werewolf and Werebear Overhaul mod since I created my Redguard and I only recently came to the realization (read: I forgot) that I can infect others with werewolf cooties. I was wondering if it was safe to infect iNPCs? Will it interfere with any sort of scripting/story?
I know Skjarn actually is a werewolf, but he never transforms – except when in the thralls of lovemaking – nor has any of the buffs/debuffs that come from being one; being weak to silver weapons, stamina regen increase, etc. With Moonlight Tales installed I can infect him, manage when and how he transforms, change his fur and eye color, even cure him of the beast blood with a mod based method.Ah, hmm… that’s a good question. I’m not completely sure, but I believe Moonlight Tales give your companions, and any NPC infected with lycanthropy, a taste of the vanilla buffs/debuffs the player gets while in human form. These would include increased health, increased stamina regeneration, increased physical damage by level, 100% resistance to diseases and poisons, and 100% weakness to silver weapons. Vanilla NPCs that are known werewolves (Farkas, Vilkas, Aela) do not have any of these effects while in human form in an un-modded game.
There are more, however the NPC would need to transform into beast form in order for them to apply. In a vanilla game NPCs do not transform outside of scripted events. There are transforming werebears with the Dragonborn DLC, but they can only be encountered on Solstheim. With Moonlight Tales installed I can set it so infected NPCs can transform at will or only when the player transforms, and when the moons are full.Kapal perang pt pal. Assassin's Creed IV: Black FlagIt may not be a traditional naval war game, but the latest installment of Assassin's Creed takes you to the high seas in the Golden Age of pirates. Aboard the Jackdaw, you'll be able to navigate the seas, firing cannons and weapons at enemies, overtaking Spanish galleons, and customizing your ship to take part in some epic sea battles.9. Voyage Century OnlineLess naval battle than naval exploration, Voyage Century Online is a nautical-themed MMPORG set in the 16th century.I also use Moonlight Tales, formerly tales of Lycanthropy and I had similar concerns myself at first once infection started spreading – I wasn’t too bothered about vanilla/DLC NPCs but I did worry about those added by mods such as 3dNPC and Helgen Reborn that rely on a lot of scripting for their quests and storylines. However it seems to be working out alright, Rumarin, Meresine and several others are both infected and can transform at will, but still go about their everyday business and it doesn’t seem to have adversely affected their stories or dialogue interactions, or the game in general. In fact it’s rather entertaining watching Meresine go on a lycanthropic rampage through Riverwood, which makes a lot more sense than watching Sinding plod through whilst in beast form umolested.
A word of warning though, I eventually had to disable the NPC-to-NPC infection option in MT as it was hammering my system once it got to over a couple of dozen infections, and that was causing me problems with 3dNPC and other mods because it was hogging up lots of resource along with all the other scripts I have going on, some of which weren’t firing off quickly enough. I increased the available memory and time for scripts but there’s only so far this can take you before frame rate degrades too much, so in the end I turned that feature off.
MT also adds a hunter option whereby powerful Silver Hand and Vigilant of Stendarr elite pairs will attack you and your party, this can be quite challenging as you never really know where or when they will strike, usually when you’re least expecting it and doing something you’d much rather be concentrating on, which can totally screw up your well-laid plan. It can be a bit silly as I have gone into cellars or dungeons and there they are, pouncing on me immediately, oblivious to whatever else is in there or going on – even once joining in when I was in a horrible fight with a very powerful Frost Dragon from Enhanced Mighty Dragons. They also ruined my sneak-onto-the ship mission with Griffiths by attacking me just as I was about to take out the guards with a sniper crossbow, so that ended up being an untidy rushed melée rather than the stealthy progression I’d intended it to be.
Don’t underestimate them – between some levelled bandits and two Silver hand elites I lost almost the entire garrison of Fort Dunstad which I’d reinforced with Imperial archers. I was just arriving with Tikrid and Lorne and stopped off to get a fresh horse and supplies when they hit the south gate. It was fun to watch Tikrid in action, Lorne wasn’t much use though. I stayed up in one of the guard towers taking potshots with a bow.
Again, on a script-heavy setup or resource-light system the MT hunter option can cause performance and stability issues which then seem to have a knock-on effect with 3dNPC, but generally the two mods have sat together well for me with the same character for a long time, with an occasional bit of tweaking.Oh yeah I turned that NPC to NPC infection option off the moment I installed the mod. While the thought of utter chaos made me giggle, I just know I wouldn’t be able to put up with all the random carnage. xD
And I know them feels when it comes to the Hunter events. I’ve had them show up in places they shouldn’t be able to reach lore-wise, like the Throat Of The World. One time I had them spawn inside High Hrothgar before the peace treaty talks. Just opened the doors and BAM there they were attacking my Dragonborn. I had her stand in a corner while magic and swords and shouting just flew all over the place. It was in awesome sight seeing Ulfric, Tullius, and Elenwen fighting side by side. Of course I, the player, was literally blushing in shock and embarrassment that this happened. I reloaded from Ivarstead and made sure to get them to spawn before going up the steps, then turned their spawning chance down, even turned moon transformations off just in case the talks went a little long.
I infected Skjarn with werewolf cooties and, after some fandangling, managed to get him into a werewolf skin that I liked. It’s a gray wolf, almost husky like in fur coloring and markings. Wish I could have gotten his eyes to be as piercing blue as his human form, but that takes more randomizing effort then I’m willing to put into it.
Poor Daenlyn, stuck hanging out with werewolves. I’d infect him too if I didn’t think he’d be religiously against it. xDI thought I could contribute a bit knowledge to compatible mods:
Dawn of Riften, Dawn of Windhelm, Dawn of Whiterun and Riverwood Reborn Gold do work without any problems.
However Better Dynamic Snow may prove to be enervating, because the snowdrifts added by it are just optics and objects and corpses may not be visible due to them (beware of Pit Dogs!).MomentumMaglev is a system of transportation that uses magnetic levitation to suspend, guide and propel vehicles rather than using mechanical methods. Is anyone using “Cutting Room Floor” or “Skyrim Uncut”? These seem to make a lot of changes and I was looking for input before I add them to my list.I use Cutting Room Floor. It restores a few items, mostly the Missing Apprentices Quest. It is probably a use one or the other situation. No problems noted with INCPs.

| The invitation from the Jarl |
Radiant Options
This is a radiant quest which you can receive from either Siddgeir or Dengeir of Stuhn, whichever is Jarl of Falkreath. The Jarl lives at the Jarl's Longhouse in Falkreath.
Quick Walkthrough
- Befriend the Jarl of Falkreath.
- Assist people of the hold three times.
- Return to the Jarl for your reward.
Detailed Walkthrough
This is an umbrella quest for several other quests that must be completed if you wish to become Thane of Falkreath. In order to receive it, you first aid the current Jarl of Falkreath - Dengeir or Siddgeir depending on your game choices. The previous quest will either be to kill a Bandit Leader if Siddgeir is Jarl; the Stormcloaks can take over Falkreath either by Rescue from Fort Neugrad or Season Unending, and either way Dengeir will allow you to start this quest. The Jarl requires you to assist the citizens of Falkreath Hold three times in order to become Thane. This can be difficult as there are only a limited number of quests in the hold and the quest givers are non-essential, which could result in their death and irrevocable loss of potential quests. Note, however, that you can also befriend merchants if you have the Investor perk by investing in their stores.
Starting Siddgeir's Bandit Leader quest can be tricky. If you have Hearthfire installed, then at level 9, a courier letter will be sent from the Jarl of Falkreath. Reading it will trigger the Falkreath version of Build Your Own Home and when this quest is running, talking to Siddgeir will allow you to start the Bandit Leader quest without any prerequisites. However, the normal prerequisite for the quest is Rare Gifts, a radiant quest which can be given by six different people. If you have received this quest from any of the other five, then you cannot receive it from Siddgeir, and you must complete the quest for the other person before you can get it from Siddgeir. It is advisable that, if possible, Siddgeir's version of the quest should be completed soon after leaving Helgen, as the mead he wants can be found near the exit to the keep.
Ways to Assist Citizens
- Complete favor quests for citizens from the region. Highlighted quests can be easily completed without any skill use.
Quest Giver | Giver Location | Quest | Objective(s) |
---|---|---|---|
Hert | Half-Moon Mill | Chop Wood: Get paid to chop firewood. (radiant) |
|
Dengeir of Stuhn | Falkreath | Some Light Theft: Do a favor by stealing an item. (radiant) |
|
Mathies | Corpselight Farm | Gather Wheat: Get paid to gather crops. (radiant) |
|
Runil | Hall of the Dead | Dungeon Delving: Do a favor by retrieving an item from a cave. (radiant) |
|
Thadgeir | Dengeir's House | Delivery: Deliver an item to an associate. (radiant) |
|
Note that if Dengeir is Jarl, he will not give out his personal quests. If you completed Some Light Theft for him before making him Jarl then it will still count towards assisting the citizens of Falkreath.
- Drop some armor pieces in front of citizens and let them have it when they request it.
- Invest 500 gold in a store, such as Gray Pine Goods.
Bounty quests will get you some money but will not help you become thane.
Reward
The reward, the Blade of Falkreath, is a random, leveled, enchanted sword. There is a 50% chance that it will be a sword (one-handed), and a 50% chance it will be a greatsword (two-handed). You will also receive a pittance of gold and the title of Thane for Falkreath Hold. With the Hearthfire add-on, you will also be rewarded a personal housecarl, Rayya.
Notes
- The quest may become nearly impossible to complete if Lod dies for any reason or if you finish the Rescue from Fort Neugrad quest of the Stormcloaks before you enter Falkreath because the game does not accept radiant quests as favors.
- This can be fixed with the console codes
setstage favorjarlsmakefriends 95
andsetstage favor258 20
- This can be fixed with the console codes
- Assistance to citizens done prior to accepting this quest counts towards the total.
Bugs
- Siddgeir may become stuck in a 'Foe' relationship with you if you've killed his housecarl for the Dark Brotherhood (even if you did it secretly). If so, he'll never grant you Thaneship.
- This issue has been addressed by version 2.0.4 of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch; The relationship will only be harmed if you are caught killing the housecarl.
- You can fix this with the console command
player.setrelationshiprank 00019822 2
- If Siddgeir is no longer Jarl, the new Jarl will grant you Thaneship.
